About Tracy

A mother of three daughters, communications and emotional intelligence coach, founder of Girls Changing the World and program facilitator and professional speaker for the Canadian Mental Health Association, I am on a mission to help moms build and keep that connection with their daughters.

It hit me hard after the birth of my third daughter. If I wanted my girls to grow up in an environment that acknowledged their feelings, while also teaching them how and giving them the confidence to navigate the challenges of growing up, I was going to need all the skills I had learned AND I was going to need to invest heavily in learning how to show up as the best mom I could with a whole tool belt of strategies to help their very different personalities.

Girls Changing the World is the compilation of almost thirty years of deep personal development work, academic and practical studies in psychology, dozens of conferences and seminars and the lived experience from raising three fierce daughters for the last twenty years.

I'm a professional coach and communications expert, but my most important role is the role I've played in my daughter's lives. We've been through it all - broken hearts, screaming matches and bad decisions. I'm here to keep it real, build your toolbelt of strategies and also recognize that we won't stop being human - and nothing hurts or heals more than a mother's love.

I've been honored to host Mother-Daughter workshops around the world, bringing mothers and daughters together in a safe space to learn and practice communication skills that plants the seeds of connection for those more turbulent times.

Being a mom is one of the greatest contributions you offer this planet. Raising powerful, confident women is what will change the world.
